Hour Nine: Coffee Time!

It’s 9am ET on the official clock and it’s the perfect time for a little java or tea or cocoa, whatever makes your perfect reading companion. (I’m sipping a cup of pumpkin spice coffee with hazelnut creamer — don’t judge me, it takes like a pumpkin pie).

It’s also the perfect to time to announce three more door prize winners:

It’s 4:12pm here and I’m just waking up from a power nap! I’m about to start book 3 ( Guapa) and drink my third cup of Turkish coffee ☕️

  2. I just woke up, and I’m about to hit the road to my reading destination, so I picked something colder (I have a tendency to burn myself with hot drinks in the car): Dr. Pepper! Lots of tea for later! And I’ve got my audiobook for the road: The Quiet Girl by Peter Hoeg.

  3. I’m headed out now for a short walk because I need to get some blood flowing and it helps with the mental energy to read. 🙂 Then on to Starbucks to read there for a few house before coming home to eat the lunch I have waiting in the slow cooker, and more reading. 🙂

I’m drinking Pumpkin Spice coffee too! The very last pod of the boxes of it I bought in the fall. Till next year Pumpkin Spice!

I had some coffee this morning with a little cinnamon vanilla Bailey’s in it. I’ll switch to tea in a bit, it’s rainy & dreary here today. Perfect weather for curling up on the couch with a book & a hot beverage!

I got up and worked out to get that blood flowing. Read for a bit after, but I really should shower. Sigh. Life always getting in the way of my reading.

Woke up 3 hours earlier than I had planned this morning, just so I could keep reading “History is All You Left Me” by Adam Silvera. I adore this book.

Kids and errands this morning meant I’ve been rushing around and only have about an hour and a half finished so far. But, now I’m settled in with a second cup of Pu’erh tea and a delightful book. Cheers!

I was awakened about an hour ago by the dulcet sounds of my puppy-son whining at me. (This is usually how I wake up, but at least he’s good enough to let me sleep for eight hours, usually!) 🙂

I’ve been clearing notifications and am about to settle in for more reading. Looking forward to making a day of it! 🙂
